The Red Light Green Light Game

The red light green light game is a fun outdoor game that can test your ability to make fast stops. It can be a fun game to play for kids of all ages.

First everyone who is playing lines up and prepares to race to the end of the field. One person stands at the end of the field or wherever everyone will be able to hear her, that person is “it” and does not run.

Then everyone starts racing towards the finish line. When the person who is “it” yells our red light all runners have to stop. If they don’t stop then they are disqualified. All other players wait for the person who is “it” to yell out green light.

When the person who is “it” yells out green light everyone starts to run again. The same person keeps yelling red light and green light until 1 player (who has not been disqualified) crosses the finish line.
